Standing Power Wheelchair

The Chairman Stander is a front-wheel drive power wheelchair that allows the user to stand safely with the touch of a button. Combined with motors and electronics, the product allows users to negotiate obstacles outdoors while providing maneuverability indoors. The wheelchair can accommodate a number of power functions, including standing alone, standing with 25° tilt and standing with 160° recline.

The chair contains a speed dial on the control panel, affording the user control over the speed of the chair. It is also equipped with programmable electronics that allow adjustment of acceleration, deceleration, turning acceleration, turning deceleration, forward speed, reverse speed, and turning. A remote swing-away joystick comes with the chair, which gives easy access to tables, desk, and counters. The chair can also be driven with a chin control, head control, or sip-and-puff control system.
