Indications and Usage:
Topical, Bactericide, Microbicide for professional degerming, pre-op and post-op procedures. Advanced technology in skin disinfectants combining quaternary and substituted phenolic active ingredients in a synergistic blend of emollients and surfactants. Unprecedented efficacy on all gram-negative and gram-positive organisms tested in 30 seconds. Techni-Care represents a new molecular structure. Exceptionally mild formulation aids in healing hands and skin abused by toxic chemicals. Apply directly to surgical sites for microbiologically "cleaner" skin prior to and after surgical procedures. Use directly on skin areas for I.V. site maintenance. Safe and effective for mucous membranes and around ears and eyes. Highly efficient surfactancy for removal of organic matter. Excellent for chronic wound cleansing and decontamination. Techni-Care has a lower toxicity rating than commercial soaps and shampoos.

Precautions:
Non-Toxic, Non-Dermal Irritant, contains no linear alcohols. Rated Mild in Ocular Tissue Testing, External Use Only. Allergic Reactions May Occur in 1% of the U.S. Population

Dosage and Administration:
Techni-Care has proven to be safe, non-toxic, and with no contra-indications in usage. No damage to fibroblast cells and no cyto-toxicity documented. Product is capable of penetrating dermal walls providing substantivity of microbicidal action (depth of penetration currently undetermined). Reduces pre-op and surgical degerming time and cost to U.S. healthcare institutions by a minimum of 50%. Do not dilute with water for skin prep procedures; apply directly and air or blot dry. Effective for debriding wounds or as an antiseptic treatment for lacerations and abrasions. Use in wounds for 2-3 minutes and irrigate with Clinical Care to bring bacterial counts to zero. Do not leave in wound bed. Wound healing rates being documented at 2-7 days. Excellent for treatment of topical infection as the alternative to antibiotic therapy. Will not stain the skin or linens. Eliminates problem of skin burning or "pooling" in lengthy surgical procedures. Aids in tissue healing. May be used in total body bathing for maximum infection control areas, especially I.C.U.'s, operating rooms, emergency rooms, and burn unit personnel.
